Once upon a time, thousands of years ago, lions and big predators used to call the
animals for democratic deliberation, for a democratic dialogue.
That specific era man was
at a turning point. He was still a naked, fearful, unarmed animal but
his mind was in its launching phase. He knew from his experience that
most of the times the assembly turned out to a bloody massacre for
every weaker.
But in an unexpected
instance, lions called the assembly when all predators have had
enough and man had noticed that. So he decided to manifest himself
and asked to speak.
And “also sprach” man:
“Here I come before
you and ask for your advice, powerful predators. As I can feel it
clearly, I am evolving to a very powerful specie.” (All predators
laughed). “Please, don't lough at me, I am not kidding you, I mean it. You don't have to worry though, because this transformation will take lots of thousands of years. But it is up to me now, at this point to decide upon a very important issue. I am prepared to follow your advice, whatever might be, so please be as thoughtful as you can. These are my two options. Either to evolve as an exception of my animalness and become a peaceful, bland, charitable and fare being, not hurting and taking care of other animals, or become like you, an omnipotent predator upon nature, conqueror and sovereign of the planet.|
(Again all predators
laughed) Then the lions said:
“This is the
funniest joke ever. But if we, for first and last time have to count
you seriously then this is our advice: try to emulate us. If you can
do this you will be happy. But we reckon you don't have the aptitude
for this.” Man answered:
“Please, forgive my
conceit, but my concern is that some day I will be able for the
impossible. And if this happens you will be distinguished, captured
and confined. But I keep my word. So, I will follow your advice.”
Lions and tigers, hyenas
and leopards didn't pay any attention to that naked, insignificant
animal. Man withdrew quickly to his cave, waiting patiently for his
destiny.
